Early voting in 2024 General Election opens in Maryland

Md Early Voting

MARYLAND – Early voting is open for registered voters in Maryland. Polls opened at 7AM Thursday morning.

If you are not registered to vote, you can still do so at the polls. To register at the polls, you must go to an early voting center in the County where you live and bring a document that proves where you live. Examples of acceptable identification include: your MVA-issued license, ID card, change of address card, your paycheck, bank statement, utility bill or other government document with your name and new address.

There will be instructions available to familiarize you with the ballot. You may ask an election judge to explain how to vote, but you must cast your vote alone, unless you are unable to do so because you have a disability or are unable to read or write the English language.

Early voting runs through October 31st, and polls will be open from 7AM to 8PM each day (including weekends). You can find an early voting center by clicking here.

For Delaware residents, the early voting period begins tomorrow. Polls will be open from 11AM-7PM October 25 – October 29, then from 7AM – 7PM from October 30 – November 3. Find early voting location in Delaware by clicking here.
