Delmarva Power continues efforts to combat climate change

SALISBURY, Md. – At the Delmarva Power Training Expo, officials also spotlighted their efforts to combat climate change.

Climate change continues to be a rising issue in the area and the United States, with extreme weather events like hurricanes, air pollution, and the burning of fossil fuels. Climate change has only grown.

Delmarva Power has been pushing to help where we can here in Delmarva. Director of External Affairs for Delmarva Power Marcus Beal said they will continue providing aid to meet Maryland and Delaware state goals.

“EV charging, promotion of EV vehicles, solar, and battery storage. You know we want to be that steady partner in the region, and make sure we have the expertise in-house to help lead that change.”
