DelDOT’s DART is hosting an open house hiring event Saturday

GEORGETOWN, Del. – DelDOT’s DART is planning on hosting its second open house hiring event in Georgetown.

It’s set for November 2nd from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is specifically for mechanics, service technicians, and auto technicians.

Delaware Transit Corporation is also offering up to $3,000 as a signing bonus for anyone who accepts the job on-site.

DTC official, Albert Loyola encourages community members to show up to the events, these are a win-win for the community and the company.

“We have had a shortage of our maintenance folks, which includes mechanics, mechanic helpers, and auto technicians. So, to try and fill those positions, we have had a couple of these events which tend to be quite successful.”

The hiring event is located, in DelDOT’s South District Building at 23697 DuPont Boulevard Georgetown, DE.
