Wicomico Co. Sheriff’s Office offering reward in August hit-and-run

SALISBURY, Md. – The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office has announced a reward for any information leading to the identity and arrest of the person responsible for a hit and run last month.

The incident took place just before 8:30 p.m. on August 15th. Preliminary investigation revealed that a juvenile was riding a skateboard along the roadway in the 6000 block of Walston Switch Road when he was hit by a car. The suspect vehicle left the scene.

The victim was flown to a trauma center with life-threatening injuries.

On August 23rd, police released surveillance images of a vehicle of interest.
