Traffic stop leads to drug charges in Felton

FELTON, Del. – A Dover man was arrested earlier this week following a traffic stop in Felton.

Just after 12 p.m., Felton Police reportedly stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on North DuPont Highway. Investigation revealed that the vehicle did not have any insurance, and a subsequent search led to the discovery of 380.7 grams of suspected marijuana in a bag on the rear passenger side floorboard.

The driver, identified as 31-year-old Pierra Foreman, was subsequently arrested and charged with manufacture/deliver/possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance in a tier 1 quantity, possess/consume marijuana other than personal use, failure to have required insurance, and other traffic related charges.

Foreman was released on a $9,500 unsecured bail.
