The ‘Eastern Shore Democrats’ group hosts rally event ahead of general election

SALISBURY, Md – Today at the Wicomico County Civic Center, the ‘Eastern Shore Democrats hosted a rally event, ahead of elections.

The celebration featured party leaders from across the state, like elected leader Josh Hastings of the Wicomico County Council, and even leaders on the state level, like Maryland Comptroller Brooke Lierman.

Organizer, Judy Wixted said that people around the eastern shore are more excited than ever about participating in the political process. “One of the things that I love about organizing on the Eastern Shore is more people always show up than sign up. It’s wonderful it shows the excitement. It shows how people are ready to volunteer and to get the work done. And this year, it has been more than ever.”

The general election is only 58 days away.
