Salisbury garage fire ruled accidental
SALISBURY, Md. – A garage fire resulted in approximately $100,000 in estimated damages Friday morning in Salisbury.
The blaze was reported shortly before 9 a.m. at 142 Harford Road, involving a detached garage at the home. Crews were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.
State fire marshals determined that the fire was accidental in nature and was caused by an electrical failure. Additionally, the fire caused heat damage to the home, as well as an additional $20,000 in damages to two vehicles, a Toyota Rav 4 and an Eagle Talon.
