Police investigating after pride flag stolen, thrown in trash in Rehoboth

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – Rehoboth Beach Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who allegedly stole a flag and threw it in the trash.

During the afternoon hours of September 3rd, police say the suspect reportedly stole a pride flag affixed to a storefront display at a business on the boardwalk between Rehoboth Avenue and Delaware Avenue. The flag was damaged during the removal and was thrown in the trash, later recovered by the owner.
