Police arrest two teens for armed robbery of Millsboro gas station

MILLSBORO, Del. – Delaware State Police have arrested two teens in connection to an armed robbery at a Millsboro gas station last week.

Shortly before 6:30 p.m. on September 18th, troopers were called to Uncle Willie’s at 30058 John J. Williams Highway, learning that two unknown men walked into the store and approached the cashier while holding a firearm. The pair allegedly demanded money and tobacco products, and fled with an unknown amount of money after the cashier complied.

Further investigation led police to identify two 15-year-olds as the suspects, also learning that one of the suspects was involved in a shoplifting at the same location.

On Monday, one of the teens turned himself in and was charged with first degree robbery – display a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony, and second degree conspiracy. He was held at the Stevenson House Detention Center on a $41,500 secured bond.

The second teen turned himself in on Tuesday, at which time police charged him with first degree robbery – display a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony, second degree conspiracy, shoplifting, and third degree conspiracy.
