One injured in Cambridge shooting, police investigating
CAMBRIDGE, Md. – Police in Cambridge are investigating a shooting that left one person injured Saturday night.
At around 9 p.m., Cambridge Police were alerted to Shot Spotter Alert for a report of multiple shots in the 1000 block of Pine Street. While officers were en route to the area, Dorchester County Emergency Services were dispatched to the 600 block of North Drive for a gunshot wound victim.
When officers arrived, they found a 27-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to his leg. The victim was transported to Tidal Health in Salisbury with non-life-threatening injuries.
While on the scene police also located three vehicles that had been damaged by gunfire.
