One airlifted to shock trauma following shooting at Trappe gas station

TRAPPE, Md. – One person is in custody following a reported shooting in Talbot County Tuesday morning.

Maryland State Police say the incident happened at around 9:10 a.m. at a gas station in the 4100 block of Ocean Gateway. We’re told a suspect is in custody, and there is no ongoing threat to public safety.

One victim was airlifted by MSP Aviation to Shock Trauma for treatment.

The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office and the Cambridge Police Department also responded to the incident, which remains under investigation.
