Officers recognized for effort in Worcester Co. crash

WORCESTER CO., Md. – Several local officers are being thanked for their recent efforts in a bad accident.

Deputies Earl Buffa and Mark Shayne, along with Troopers First Class Robert Bradley and Chad Kreiling, used fire extinguishers to control the flames while they worked to free the person inside the car and move her to safety.

All four men sustained injuries during the rescue.
