Ocean access in OC to remain closed Tuesday

Ocean City Memorial Day Weekend

OCEAN CITY, Md. – The Town of Ocean City says a post-high tide cleanup Tuesday morning revealed no medical waste on the beach.

However, due to rough surf, limited lifeguards, and an abundance of caution, the ocean will remain closed for swimming and surfing at this time.

Ocean City Emergency Services says they plan to work with the Health Department to conduct water testing and hope to reopen the ocean by the weekend.
