UPDATE: Man found dead in Dover, homicide investigation underway

9/18 UPDATE: Delaware State Police have identified the victim as 45-year-old Antonio Drummond of Dagsboro.

The investigation is continuing.

DOVER, Del. – A homicide investigation is underway after police say a man was found dead in Dover Monday evening.

At around 6 p.m., troopers were called to the 400 block of East Denney’s Road for a report of a vehicle in a ditch. When troopers arrived at the scene, they reportedly found a 45-year-old man in the car, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
