Local firefighters honored

PITTSVILLE, Md. – Former Pittsville Volunteer Fire Chief Mark Bratten was honored over the weekend.

He was inducted into the Eastern Shore Volunteer Firemans Association Hall of Fame. Bratten served his community for 56 years. Tom Nichols was also inducted into the Hall of Fame as a past president of the ESVFA.
