The festival is dedicated to creating unique experiences of discovery and learning, cultivating cultural and ethnic diversity, and pursuing all opportunities to inspire and enlighten through music, dance, food, crafts, and other folk arts. Many businesses will be selling the wristbands including Delmarva Home Grown and Blackwater Apothecary.

She said she was honored to become a part of this collaboration. “You unlock deals to all the local businesses. And we’ll give you a list of all the businesses that are participating. For example, Too Scoops, if you flash your downtown business alliance wristband, you’ll get 10% off your total ice cream purchase. And we have a secret menu that we’ll be serving for wristband holders.”

The festival’s opening ceremony will begin Friday, September 20th at 6pm. It’s a total of 3 days long, ending at 6 pm on Sunday, September 22. If you wish to purchase a $10 wristband, feel free to visit any store downtown with a sign in their window. For more information on the festival, visit their website.
