Emerging Leader: Dr. Doris Griffin

WMDT – It’s Monday and that means it’s time to introduce you to a new emerging leader.

Dr. Doris Griffin is the Executive Director of the Delaware Adolescent Program and recently started a business with her husband called Aspire and Achieve.

This morning, Dr. Doris Griffin stopped by to tell us more about their business, DAPI, and how she helps serve those in the Delmarva community.

Through Aspire and Achieve, they have been able to provide pre-martial coaching, but she is really proud of the work she gets to do with DAPI.

She says that they connect with young girls seeking an education while pregnant or currently parenting. They want to prepare these students for college or training for a career.

DAPI provides teachers, social workers, and nurses to help guide them through their journey.

Griffin tells us they really want to see young people succeed and be able to earn an income.
