Discover Delmarva: Nick’s Mini Golf & Ropes Course

OCEAN CITY, Md.- Nick’s Mini Golf & Ropes Course newest location on 21st Street in Ocean City provides lots of excitement and thrills during your visit. WMDT met up with the Owner Nicholas Geracimos about this new location and he told us how the idea for a ropes course came about. Geracimos said “What else can I add without having to expand horizontally land wise. So I wanted to go up,” and ‘up’ was an understatement.

This three-storied structure stands out right along Coastal Highway. With multiple challenges and obstacles throughout “It seemed to get the widest range of ages. I mean we have eighty-year-olds going up there as well as five-year-olds,”  says Geracimos.

This new attraction is one of a kind and offers a new challenge for visitors and anyone with a fear of heights. There is even a built-in zip line on the third level, with a variety of obstacles throughout the structure requiring some cleverness and muscle to power through. The most important aspect of the course is safety, and Nick says it’s always assured – even if you misstep “It’s a system that once your’re clipped in at the bottom of the course. You cannot come out until you’re back down the steps.”

If heights aren’t up your alley, they also offer their brand mini golf course below “Here we have the Jurassic theme which I kept from the old location, and we’re going to keep adding to it here. Potentially some new animatronics coming in next year.” Geracimos did have some important advice while playing the course saying “You got to play the bank shots. If you want to make the holes in one.”

Geracimos says they welcome large groups and plan to stay open weather permitting into October on the weekends. He also tells WMDT the plan for next year is to keep adding to this 21st Street
location and to update some of his other courses. You’ll find their hours and all the deals they offer on their website, and if you make the trip make sure to tell them you saw them on Discover Delmarva.
