Delawareans cast their votes in Primary Election

DELAWARE. – Delawareans are fired up about certain issues this election cycle.

Kenda Kile, a retired educator, said with gun violence touching two schools in the US just last week, she hopes to see more gun control conversations in Delaware. She also wants Delaware’s future governor to address various health care issues.

“I’m always interested in education because I’m a retired educator,” Kile said. “Health care matters and reproductive rights for everybody, too.”

Josephine Ricketts hit the polls to vote in favor of education as well. She encourages everyone who is able to fulfill their civic duty by casting their vote.

“I think everyone should vote, to voice their opinion so change can come about,” Ricketts said.

All Delaware polls will be open until 8PM tonight.
