Delaware conservation districts announce annual student poster contest

GEORGETOWN, DEL. – The New Castle, Kent, and Sussex Conservation Districts have announced the annual conservation poster contest. This event is for all students through K-12th. The theme for the 2024 contest is “May the Forest Be With You, Always.”

Students will compete in the following grade categories: K-1, 2-3, 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12. Digital posters will be accepted from students in the 7-9 and 10-12 grade categories. First, second, and third-place winners in each grade category will receive cash prizes of $50, $25, and $15, respectively.

Entries can be submitted electronically, by mail, or in person to your local conservation district by Friday, Oct. 25, 2024.
