Decatur continues dominant start to season

SALISBURY, Md. – Decatur’s offense erupted for six first half touchdowns in their 45-0 win at Bennett Friday night.
The Seahawks got off to a flying start. Johnny Hobgood found Evan Copeland for a long gain, leading to a Vernon DeShields touchdown.
Special teams got in on the action with a blocked punt. Brett Schulz picked up the loose ball and ran it back for a 14-point Decatur edge.
Hobgood completed his day with a passing touchdown to Brian Chester for a 28-0 lead.
Decatur moves to 3-0 on the season with the shutout victory.
