Cooking with Lynn: London broil

WMDT – It’s Thursday and that means we are back in Lynn Matava’s kitchen.

Lynn is a Nutrition Educator with the University of Maryland Extension.

Meat lovers, if you’re looking for a great way to cook a delicious steak then Lynn has the perfect recipe for you.

Lynn says a London broil can be put on top of salad or even used as a replacement for lunch meat.

She says to avoid food contamination and food born illness; the steak would need to be heated to 160 to 165 degrees.

You can check the temperature with a thermometer. You can place it halfway in to get an accurate reading.
