Child pornography investigation leads to over 30 charges for Easton man

EASTON, Md. – An Easton man has been arrested following a child pornography investigation.

The investigation began in June 2024, when Easton Police detectives received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding a person in possession of child pornography. Through the investigation, 21-year-old Darian Braun was identified as the suspect, and on Thursday, detectives executed search and seizure warrants at his residence and vehicle.

Braun was taken into custody at the time of the search and has been charged with 17 counts of child pornography distribution, 17 counts of child pornography possession, and two counts of obscene material possession with the intent to distribute.
