Caroline Co. pole barn fire under investigation
GREENSBORO, Md. – Maryland State Fire Marshals are investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed a Caroline County pole barn Thursday evening.
The blaze was reported just before 5:30 p.m., at 14219 Drapers Mill Road. Officials say one victim suffered minor burns from the fire, but refused treatment.
Total damage has been estimated at $180,000.
