Carl Anderton connects with community at annual Crisfield Crab and Clam Bake
CRISFIELD, Md. – Former Maryland Delegate, Carl Anderton, is stepping into his new role and looking forward to enhancing the state.
Anderton assumed his new position as Director of Rural Economic Strategies back in July and stopped at the Crisfield Crab and Clam Bake to connect with constituents.
He said within his new role, he’s been working hand in hand with people from the Eastern Shore, and officials in Annapolis, to find out what can be done to improve communities.
“When I meet with council members and county executives and administrators, they’re like, ‘What’s the strategy?’ I’m like, ‘What’s your strategy? Let’s make your strategy our strategy.’ Nobody knows best what they need in their neighborhood than the folks that live in that neighborhood,” Anderton said.
