Candidates certified for upcoming Berlin election

BERLIN, Md. – The Town of Berlin has announced that the remaining candidates for the Town’s Municipal Election have been certified.

We’re told that barring the emergence of any additional write-in candidates by the September 24th filing deadline, Jack Orris will be declared the winner of the District 2 Council Seat, and Zack Tyndall will be confirmed as the winner of the Mayoral race.

For Councilmember District 3, Shaneka Nahkia Nichols and Daniel J. Packey are the two candidates that will appear on the ballot.
