Cambridge Police arrest man wanted in connection to multiple thefts

1280 Eugene Dandy

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – A wanted Cambridge man has been taken into custody.

Earlier this week, Cambridge Police asked for the community’s help in locating 44-year-old Eugene Dandy III, who had multiple warrants out of Dorchester and Talbot Counties. Through tips received by community members, officers found Dandy in the 400 block of Skinners Court on Wednesday. Police ordered Dandy to stop, but he reportedly began walking away, not complying with orders to stop. He was quickly taken into custody with the assistance of a Cambridge Police K9.

Dandy was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of a dog bite before being taken to the Cambridge Police Department. He was subsequently held without bond after being served with three outstanding warrants:
