BREAKING: John Whalen III wins Republican nomination for U.S. House

DELAWARE – The Associated Press has announced John Whalen III as the winner of the Republican race for U.S. House in Delaware’s 1st Congressional District.

Whalen beat out Donyale Hall 55% to 45%.

WMDT’s Rob Petree spoke with Whalen Tuesday evening, who said, “It’s been an uphill battle. I wasn’t the endorsed candidate, but I really want to take a moment here and thank all of the voters who supported me.”
