Bill Chambers visits Good Morning Delmarva to discuss the 2024 Job and Career Fair

WMDT – The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Job and Career Fair in Salisbury with the Lower Shore American Job Center.

It’s the perfect opportunity for job seekers to meet potential employers for free!

This morning, Bill Chambers, President of the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce, stopped by to tell us more about the event.

Chambers says the fair will take place at the Centre in the Salisbury mall and employers still have one week to purchase a table.

There will be a variety of businesses from the local area in attendance specializing in fields such as agriculture, hospitality, health care and more.

Last year, the fair hit a record number of attendees with over 2,000 people!

Bill says you should come prepared with copies of your resume and dressed in proper interview attire. It can really help you stand out amongst other applicants.
