Bethany Beach closes ocean access temporarily

BETHANY BEACH, Del. – Ocean access in Bethany Beach is temporarily closed.

This is in addition to several beaches to the north and south and comes after medical waste was found washed ashore.

Anyone walking the beach should wear closed-toed shoes. If you see any medical waste, you should report it to DNREC at 800-663-8802.
