Annual Maryland Folk Fest takes over Downtown Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. – Crews are busy in Downtown Salisbury preparing for the annual Folk Festival.

The two-day event will feature live music, arts and crafts and several vendors. It’s a fan favorite that brings folks in from around the region to enjoy a weekend on the Eastern Shore.

Team lead for the Folk Fest, Caroline O’Hare, said the event has something to offer everybody and she’s looking forward to the community seeing all of the new talent this year.

“The greatest bands are going to be hitting the Perdue dance stage. We have Melody Angel and Dupont Brass and Max Rosado, and we’re even going to have a square dance on Saturday night,” O’hare said.
