White Marlin Open day three recap
OCEAN CITY, Md. – Tuna dominated day three at the 2024 White Marlin Open.
The Talkin Trash, a vessel from Ocean City, Maryland, reeling in five Bigeye Tuna Wednesday, with one coming in at second place, and at the time was worth about $1.5 Million.
That mark was bested later on by two vessels from out of New Jersey.
The Warden Pass bringing in a 193.5-pound tuna, currently second in the tuna category, and worth just short of $210,000.
The Right Place out of Point Pleasant, New Jersey, reeling in a 191.5-pound tuna, currently worth $113,000.
Of the 318 boats entered, 272 going out for day three.
