Weekend shooting in Princess Anne under investigation

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Maryland State Police are investigating a shooting that left one injured Saturday afternoon.

The incident was reported just before 1 p.m. in the 11000 block of Somerset Avenue. Troopers responded and made contact with an adult woman who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was taken by ambulance to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional for treatment of her injuries.
