The Pride of Baltimore 2 sets sails in Cambridge for Labor Day weekend
CAMBRIDGE, Md – The Pride of Baltimore 2 vessel started to set sail today in Cambridge for Labor Day weekend. The famous vessel is a stylistic reproduction of the 1812 Baltimore privateer.
The boat will be in Cambridge until September 3rd, before it heads to Havre de Grace Maryland. People can get on the ship for free deck tours and day and night sails, which cost $55 for adults and $25 for kids under 12.
Captain, Jeff Crosby, said Cambridge has always been a great city to come and sail. “Seeing bye boats going in and out, I’m seeing crab boats going in and out, so it’s cool to be here in the middle of an eastern shore town that’s active and connected on their waterfront.”
The vessel has not been in Cambridge since 2021, you can buy tickets here.
