Talbot Humane waiving adoption fees all month

TALBOT COUNTY, Md. – If you’re looking for a furry friend, the Talbot County Humane Society has you covered.

The shelter is waiving all pet adoption fees for the month of August, to make it more accessible to the community to adopt a forever friend.

Executive director, Patty Cranckshaw-Quimby, said adopting is always a great option for a family.

“We decided that waiving adoption fees is really promoting the wonderful ways that people can support the community, by adopting versus shopping,” Cranckshaw-Quimby said.
