Talbot Co. Sheriff’s Office notes significant increase in road sign vandalisms
TALBOT CO., Md. – The Talbot County Sheriff’s Office says there has been an “alarming increase” in damage to county road signs over the past year, with the majority in the Cordova area.
Talbot County Roads Superintendent says a total of 64 incidents have occurred over the last year, costing taxpayers almost $18,000 for repairs and replacement of road signs. According to Talbot County Roads invoices, almost 90% of the reported incidents were vandalism.
