Sussex Technical High School is Ready for New School Year
GEORGETOWN, Del – Sussex Technical High School opened for all 9th graders on August 23rd, 2024 and will open to all students starting on August 27th, 2024.
This school year, Sussex Tech introduced a new Career Technical Education program to the curriculum. Architectural Engineering Technologies has been added and Sussex Tech now offers 19 CTE programs.
For the new school year, Sussex Tech has hired eight (8) new teachers, a school constable, two (2) paraprofessionals, two (2) child nutrition staff, a school psychologist, school social worker, and a school counselor. “We are happy to begin the new school year with a talented group of new hires.
Sussex Tech also implemented the use of a weapons detection system to keep the safety and security of all students and staff safe.
