Salisbury University receives Forbes recognition

SALISBURY, Md. – Salisbury University was just ranked one of America’s top colleges by Forbes magazine and was named among the best 390 colleges by the Princeton Review.

This isn’t the first time the university has received these types of accolades; this is the 11th consecutive year that it’s been ranked a top institution.

SU spokesperson, Jason Rhodes, said the recognition shows current and future students the value of a degree from SU

“Rankings like these also help get the university in front of a lot more people, so if you’re a high school student, and you’re just now considering colleges and just now starting to look at these ranking booklets, you understand that Salisbury University is an option for you, and a very attractive option,” Rhodes said.

Rhodes said another reason students are drawn to the university is because it can also be an economically friendly option, for obtaining a degree.

“You’re going to find that SU has some of the lowest tuitions, some of the lowest fees in the region, that’s why we not only attract students from Maryland, but from other states as well,” Rhodes said.
