Police investigating shots fired after 911 call

SHARPTOWN, Md. – Maryland State Police are investigating after shots were fired in Sharptown early Sunday morning.

At 2 a.m., troopers responded to a 911 call reporting shots fired in the area of Cherry Beach Park.

Maryland State Police canvassed the area, and crime scene technicians processed the scene for evidence.

Police said they found no victims and there were no reported injuries.
