Philadelphia man arrested in Dover on firearm, drug charges
DOVER, Del. – A Philadelphia man was arrested in Dover late Wednesday night on a list of drug and firearm charges.
At around 11:15 p.m., officers with the Dover Police Department and Delaware Probation and Parole made contact with a man, identified as 31-year-old Eric Brown, in the area of South New Street and West Reed Street as part of an illegal drug and firearm investigation. Brown was found in possession of a loaded 9mm handgun with an extended magazine and an obliterated serial number, 49 bags of heroin, and 5 Levorphanol pills.
Brown was charged with multiple firearm and drug offenses and was held at SCI on an $82,401 cash bail.
