One seriously injured in Salisbury hit and run

SALISBURY, Md. – An investigation is underway following a hit-and-run that left one seriously injured Thursday night.

Just before 8:30 p.m., police were called to the area of Walston Switch Road, north of Shavox Road, for a report of a serious crash. It was discovered that a juvenile was riding a skateboard along the roadway in the 6000 block of Walston Switch Road when he was hit by a vehicle, which left the scene after the crash.

The victim was flown to a trauma center with life-threatening injuries.
