One person dead in serious crash near Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, Del. – One person is dead following a serious crash near Georgetown.

According to Delaware State Police, the crash occurred just before 4:30 p.m., Tuesday on Route 9 near Asphalt Alley.

At least one person died as a result of the crash.

State Police are continuing their investigation.
