Milford Museum hosts fundraising event, the 5th annual Hippie Fest

Milford, Del. – The Milford Museum is back for its fundraising event, the 5th annual Hippie Fest.

The festival will be at Causey Mansion on Saturday, August 17th from 3 pm to 8 pm.

Popular songs from the 60’s and 70’s will be played throughout the event. The regional band, the Funsters, will take the stage for a performance.

Food and vendors will also be on-site, and alcohol will also be available for people.

Milford Museum Executive Director Tom Summers said the event brings out all of Milford to enjoy. “People look forward, to this event, they look forward to seeing friends, they look forward to seeing classmates they haven’t seen in a long time, so it’s kind of a reunion for people that have lived here all their lives and people that have moved to the area.” Said, Summers.

Tickets are currently 45 dollars but will be increasing at the door, attendees are encouraged to buy them online before the event starts here.
