Kitten tests positive for rabies near Somerset/Wicomico Co. line

EDEN, Md. – The Somerset County and Wicomico County Health Departments have announced that a kitten tested positive for rabies in the area of Cathell Road in Eden, near the Somerset and Wicomico County line.

We’re told the kitten tested positive on Monday.

Officials are advising all residents to be aware of their surroundings and avoid all contact with wild or stray animals.
