John Harbaugh speaks on Ravens during training camp

OWINGS MILLS, Md. – We got an inside look at the Baltimore Ravens Training Camp, where Lamar Jackson, Justin Tucker, and even Derrick Henry took to the field to impress local fans.

Fans lined up around noon to get a look at the squad that won the most games in the NFL last season.

Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh said the standout player from training camp hadn’t been the 2-time MVP winner Lamar Jackson or the 2020 Offensive Player of the Year Derrick Henry but instead, it’s been second-year wide receiver Zay Flowers. “I would say Isiah has put together a fantastic training camp. It was another great day, we connected on a bunch of deep balls out there. He’s been spectacular with the route running and in the details. I feel like the timing has been fantastic, he’s just a very special athlete. He comes to work every day and is ready to go to work so we’re very proud of him,” he said.

Noticeably absent from Sunday’s training camp was 1st round pick Nate Wiggins.

Coach Harbaugh had good news, saying the rookie corner’s shoulder injury is not severe. “Wiggins is not a serious injury, he has the same one that I got last week on the water slide.I think we’re good,” he said.

He also gave his take on the new NFL kickoff rules.

“I’m a little concerned about all of the chaotic injury potenital for the play. But I thought it was a lot of fun. I thought our guys did a good job with it. I thought our coverage was good. One wasn’t great but the rest of were great and I thought on our returns we were blocking people very well. We just have to keep building on it,” he said.
