Good Morning Delmarva discusses the Vienna Boy Choir concert
WMDT – The Vienna Boy Choir, is making their return, on December 10th with a concert.
You can expect to hear a variety of Christmas music and classic songs from the group.
This morning, Debbie Donahue, Director for the Ocean Pines Recreation & Parks, stopped by to tell us more.
She says the group is almost 500 years old and most of the members are from Vienna, Austria!
They will be coming to Ocean City for the first time ever and the Ocean Pines Recreation & Parks is hosting them at the Roland E. Powell Center.
Donahue says this is a huge opportunity for the local area as this is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Right now, they are focused on bringing more programs to the community and highlighting the arts.
She hopes that this event will help open the door to more opportunities in the future.
Tickets go on sale August 15th at 10 a.m. and again, the concert is December 10th at 7 p.m.
