Good Morning Delmarva discusses LSPAC’s upcoming auditions
WMDT – Local actors, if you’re looking a new opportunity, the Lower Shore Performing Arts Company is preparing for their next production of the season – A Sherlock Carol!
They will soon be holding open auditions for roles and this morning, Robert Forester, stopped by to tell us more about how you can play a part.
He tells us that Sherlock Carol is pretty new and a combination of two different shows. It takes place after A Christmas Carol and focuses on a murder mystery.
The director is looking for 7-8 people and there’s chances to play more than one character.
Forester says this show is pure fun and really enjoyable.
Auditions will require a prepared dramatic reading from either A Christmas Carol or any Sherlock Holmes production.
They will also be doing cold readings.
Here’s some of the roles available to audition for:
- Sherlock Holmes
- Ebenezer Scrooge
- Tim Cratchit
- Emma Wiggins
- The Countess
- Dr. Watson
Auditions will be held August 10th from 2 – 4 p.m. at the St. Mary’s Church in Pocomoke and August 17th from 2 – 4 p.m. at the Antioch Church in Princess Anne.
The show will run in November and early December.
