Georgetown has a public hearing tonight at 6:30pm

GEORGETOWN, Del. – Georgetown leaders are weighing a decision on a big project.

They’re meeting about the proposed 18 million dollars to finance the construction of a new police station and public works facility.

The meeting is open to the public and officials are encouraging residents to come out for input.

Town Manager, Gene Dvornick, said he’s excited for what’s to come in the future for Georgetown, “I think it’s inevitable that the town will continue to grow so this is a good time, for the town to take advantage of different opportunities, expand the facilities to provide critical services.”

The meeting will be at the town hall.
