First Baptist Church of Salisbury holds back-to-school bash
SALISBURY, Md. – As kids and families are gearing up to head back to the classroom, the First Baptist Church of Salisbury hosted a back-to-school bash for the community.
With games, live music, and free food, it was a great opportunity for families and kids to get out and have some fun before the start of the school year.
The event also featured community resources and free school supplies for anyone that might need them.
“We just want to give them some peace of mind and just let them know that they’re not in it alone. There is a community there is a church right here in Salisbury, Maryland, that wants to help them and be supportive financially to them, and also be a presence to them, whatever they need,” said Executive Pastor Kenneth Watson.
And be on the lookout for the First Baptist Church of Salisbury’s October Family Fun Fest coming up.
