Drug investigation leads to charges for Salisbury man
SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury man was arrested last month after an investigation led to the recovery of drugs and paraphernalia.
In June and July, law enforcement received information that Everett Fields was distributing powder and crack cocaine from a residence in the 400 block of Buena Vista Avenue. A search and seizure warrant was subsequently executed on July 19th, leading to the discovery of the following:
- 16.63 grams of suspected crack cocaine
- 7.07 grams of suspected powder cocaine, a zip lock bag with compressed cocaine in brick form – 111.72 grams
- Four baggies of crack cocaine in quantities of 29.03 grams, 29.05 grams, 29.10 grams, and 29.07 grams
- Two digital scales in working order
- Two Pyrex jars and a spoon used for manufacturing crack cocaine
- $5,848 in cash
As a result, Fields was arrested and charged with multiple CDS and drug offenses and is being held without bond.
